  • Training to build your confidence and communication skills.
  • Help overcoming financial barriers that may be stopping you from moving forward into to work or training.
  • Paid work experience placements with local employers, matched to your interests.

Want to build your skills and earn money at the same time?

Earn while you learn:

  • If it’s the right fit for you, there may be opportunities to take part in a paid work placement for up to five months.
  • Placements can offer up to 25 hours of paid work each week, helping you gain real-world experience while earning the National Minimum Wage. Current rates are £10.85 per hour for 18–20 year olds and £12.71 per hour for those aged 21 and over.

If you’re aged 18-21, not currently in education, employment, or training, and are living in Tees Valley (Darlington, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland and Stockton-on-Tees), then you are eligible to apply
